Stunning beaded 4.75"x3.5" hair piece by Beth Rose Designs, the horse hair earrings are 10" long and the double drop earrings are 3.75"x1.5". The necklace with horse hair is 21.5" long 5.75" wide, the hair barrette is 4.5"x2.75". The pieces are made with 24kt gold beads, a variety of size 11 seed beads, and backed on white leather, the horse hair is bleached by Esther herself.
Beth Rose Designs is run by Esther Sasakamoose and her daughter Kayla. Esther is a Plains Cree Artisan from the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, Saskatchewan. She has handcrafted a large variety of beaded accessories and jewelry and has been doing so for 35 years. Her work has been featured in museum selections catalogues and in August 2022 her work was in an Indigenous fashion article in Vogue.
