These bold monochromatic earrings were designed by Inspired Natives™ Project Collaborator, Michelle Lowden (Acoma Pueblo). Their name "Kasheeshi," means 'white corn' in Keres, the language indigenous to the Pueblo of Acoma. The design features a central corn motif, with elements representing both rain and mountains.
These exquisitely detailed mixed-media earrings are cut from real maple, high resolution printed with multiple layers of protective coating, and lovingly assembled in Eighth Generation's Seattle studio with gunmetal earring hooks.
