This painting is a tribute to the Mother Bison at Wanuskewin Heritage Park in Saskatoon, SK. The mother bison have given birth to the next generation and have helped the spirit of the bison return to this sacred place on the high plains. Spring is a time of birthing, and this artwork celebrated of the spring birthing of the bison and the rebirth of the land they inhabit.
