A wonderful new handmade creation from Beth Rose Designs. Hybrid brooch can be worn as a pin, or converted to a pendant necklace. Brooch features a beaded star blanket pattern which is accented by quills and 24 karat gold beads.
Beth Rose Designs is run by Esther Sasakamoose and her daughter Kayla. Esther is a Plains Cree Artisan from the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, Saskatchewan. She has handcrafted a large variety of beaded accessories and jewelry and has been doing so for 35 years. Her work has been featured in museum selections catalogues and in August 2022 her work was in an Indigenous fashion article in Vogue.
