Walk on Sunshine.

Sunshine is a goes-with-everything moccasin that we bet will become your new favourite everyday shoe. Made of breathable soft unlined suede, its Turtle sole makes it a wear-everywhere moc that’ll get you through your day in style.

About the Art
The design of the sole tells a symbolic story rooted in Indigenous teachings. A circle, representing the unity of life energy, is divided to reflect balance—man and woman, mother and father, the spirit world and the physical world. Flowing lines stretch across the sky, symbolizing the energy that moves through all living beings. A turtle swims toward the prairie grasses, a nod to the sustenance they have long provided. This imagery draws from the legend of Turtle Island, the land formed when a small clump of soil on Turtle’s back grew into what is now North America. The markings on the turtle’s shell echo the cycles of the moon, connecting the story to the rhythm of nature.

about the artist

heather endall

Heather Endall is a Cree woman from Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation. A Canadian artist who explores her creative talents and personal identity through diverse, tactile expression. Raised by her grandparents in Brandon, Manitoba, she was an introverted young girl, who best communicated through drawings and practical inventions. Her relentless need to integrate beauty and function sparked a small business in elementary school as she sewed, painted, and beaded playful gifts of expression for her peers at school, which ignited a keen entrepreneurial spirit. Her method of artistic expression was also present musically, as she quickly became a fastidious classical piano student and emotive performer.
