about the artist

kirk brant

Kirk Brant is a member of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, and currently resides in Ottawa, Canada. A graduate of the graphic design program at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Kirk is a self-taught fine artist who has been painting for most of his life. His art reflects his Mohawk heritage, capturing scenes from his personal life and his experiences as an avid outdoorsman.
