mino ode designs
Hello! I’m Jacqueline Shaver
I love creating beautiful, functional pottery and painting beadwork designs on my pieces. I began pottery in 2019 and have been exploring clay ever since. I’m a mom of three grown kids, married to my best friend, and I work as a physiotherapist supporting people with brain injuries.
My Anishinaabe heritage, through my father from Kettle and Stony Point, is central to my work. Beading connects me to my roots, and I create in his memory since his passing in 2023. I believe in supporting Indigenous women–owned businesses and value community over competition.
Thanks for being here!
