About the artist
Irma S.
Irma S. is a Cree artist and photographer from the Beardy’s and Okemasis First Nation in Saskatchewan. She began her crafting journey in 2020 as a way to process grief and stay grounded through creativity. Working primarily with Cricut and sublimation techniques, Irma blends vintage elements with bold pop culture references, creating an alternative style that’s uniquely her own.
About Wanuskewin collective
Our shops are a not-for-profit organization that have been apart of the Wanuskewin Heritage Park for over 30 years now. With our earnings going back into the park and other organizations such as ones involved in survivors of Residential schools as well as families of Missing Murdered Indigenous Women; we are fortunate and proud to be apart of Treaty 6 Territory.
