About the Artist
Core Neighbourhood Youth Co-op
CNYC is an essential skill building and alternative education program for all youth in Saskatoon.
Youth can also learn life, art, cultural teachings in a compassionate and supportive environment. We promote the values of community, cooperation, sustainability, environmentalism, gratitude, accountability and leadership in an empowering and respectful atmosphere.
Working with over 200 youth anually, CNYC believes that all youth should be able to access a safe spaces to develop workplace skills and further their education.
About Wanuskewin collective
Our shops are a not-for-profit organization that have been apart of the Wanuskewin Heritage Park for over 30 years now. With our earnings going back into the park and other organizations such as ones involved in survivors of Residential schools as well as families of Missing Murdered Indigenous Women; we are fortunate and proud to be apart of Treaty 6 Territory.
