Janice Parsons, an Inuk artist from the Nunavik region, is the creative force behind Yaya Inspirations. Inspired by her mother, a skilled seamstress, Janice started making earrings using sealskin, leather, and fox fur from her mother's scraps. Over time, her designs became more intricate, incorporating elements from her Inuit culture. As interest grew, Janice felt motivated to continue and share her creations with others. The name Yaya, a tribute to her late grandfather, symbolizes the deep bond they shared.
