about the artist
heather endall
Heather Endall is a Cree woman from Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation. A Canadian artist who explores her creative talents and personal identity through diverse, tactile expression. Raised by her grandparents in Brandon, Manitoba, she was an introverted young girl, who best communicated through drawings and practical inventions. Her relentless need to integrate beauty and function sparked a small business in elementary school as she sewed, painted, and beaded playful gifts of expression for her peers at school, which ignited a keen entrepreneurial spirit. Her method of artistic expression was also present musically, as she quickly became a fastidious classical piano student and emotive performer.
